Google India plans to announce the first set of Android One smartphones with Indian companies, Micromax and Spice and today, the first smartphone from Spice, called the Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498 has leaked on Flipkart. The product page appeared for a few minutes and was taken down soon but it was too late as the details on the phone were already spilled.
The Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498 will come with a 4.5 inch FWVGA display, 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 1 GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS out-of-the-box which will surely be upgradable to the next iteration of the Android OS.
There is a 5 MP rear camera with LED Flash while a 2 MP front camera is also available on the Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498. Dual-SIM, 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Blueooth 4.0, FM Radio options along with MicroUSB and 3.5mm audio jack are available on the phone. All of this is powered by a 1700 mAh battery. Spice is to announce the launch officially tomorrow and the Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498 will go on sale via Flipkart exclusively at 3.30 PM. You can buy the device from here.

With loads of entry level smartphones making it to the market, another OEM Celkon has launched Celkon Millennium Dazzle Q44 which comes with a 4 inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS out-of-the-box.
Powered by a quad-core processor clocking at 1.3 GHz and combined with 1 GB of RAM< processing on the Celkon Millennium Dazzle Q44 should be fine with 8 GB of internal storage include on the device. This will be expandable using a microSD card up to 32 GB. Connectivity options include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Dual-SIM capability, FM Radio, GPS and more.
